Saffrona Bloom is a flavoured herbal and fruit infusion with saffron. Apple pieces and rosehip shells provide a fruity base. Lemon balm, rose petals, elderflowers, cornflowers and marigold petals give the blend its floral character. Orange peel and selected herbs round out the flavour.

Each 30 g pack contains 0.2 g of Afghan saffron, a saffron content of approximately 0.67%. With no black or green tea in the blend, it is naturally caffeine-free.

Afghan saffron at the heart of the blend

The saffron used in Saffrona Bloom comes directly from Afghanistan. Saffrona works with its own agricultural operations and selected women-led saffron farms in the Herat region, with a focus on quality and traceable origins.

How to brew

For one cup of Saffrona Bloom:

• Amount: 1 teaspoon of the loose blend per cup
• Water temperature: 100°C
• Brewing time: at least 5 minutes

Always pour freshly boiling water over the blend and leave it to infuse for at least five minutes. Enjoy hot, or allow it to cool completely and serve as a refreshing chilled flower tea.
