§ 1 Scope
These general terms and conditions apply to all sales by:

They apply to sales through our online shop at saffrona.eu/en/, with orders handled through our main-store checkout, and to direct sales to consumers and business customers at markets, trade fairs and other sales events within the European Union.
§ 2 Contracting party and conclusion of the contract
The purchase contract is concluded with RUMI Saffron UG, which sells its products under the Saffrona brand.
In the online shop: by clicking the order button, you make a binding offer to purchase the products in your cart. The contract is concluded through our order confirmation by email.
For direct purchases at markets or trade fairs: the contract is concluded by handing over the goods and making payment on site.
§ 3 Prices and payment terms
All stated prices are net prices unless otherwise indicated. Statutory VAT is shown separately at checkout or on the invoice.
Accepted payment methods:
- PayPal
- Credit card
- Bank transfer (advance payment)
- Cash for direct sales
Payment is due immediately. Goods are dispatched only after full payment has been received.
§ 4 Shipping and delivery terms
Shipping is available only within the European Union. Shipping charges depend on the destination country and are displayed during the ordering process.
Customers generally bear shipping costs. For certain promotions or large orders, RUMI Saffron UG may cover all or part of these costs; this is stated in the respective offer.
Delivery generally takes 2–7 working days. If delivery fails because of incorrect address information or failure to collect the shipment, the customer bears return shipping costs.
§ 5 Retention of title
Goods remain the property of RUMI Saffron UG until paid for in full.
§ 6 Right of withdrawal
6.1 Online orders (distance contracts)
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the goods. Food products whose seal has been removed after delivery are excluded from withdrawal.
Return conditions:
- Goods must be unused, in their original packaging and sealed.
- The return must take place within 14 days of receipt.
- The buyer bears return shipping costs.
6.2 Direct sales at markets and trade fairs
Purchases made in person outside the online shop, for example at weekly markets or trade fairs, have no statutory right of withdrawal under Section 312g of the German Civil Code (BGB). No voluntary right of return is granted.
§ 7 Warranty and liability
Statutory warranty rights apply.
The following also applies to business customers:
- The warranty period is one year from handover of the goods.
- Our product information forms part of the contract; public statements made by third parties do not.
§ 8 Jurisdiction and applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. To the extent legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from the contractual relationship is our company’s registered office in Pinneberg.
§ 9 Final provisions
If any provision of these terms is wholly or partially invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. Additions or amendments must be made in writing.
